Description

Santa Ana was a 112-gun three-decker ship of the line of the Spanish Armada, designed by Romero Landa. This ship was launched on 28 September 1784, and after a positive test run became the first of her class. Later Spanish three-deckers would be built following the same plans. At Trafalgar, Santa Ana was lava's flagship, suffering 97 killed and 141 wounded, with lava herself severely wounded. Initially captured by the British, a squadron managed to recapture her two days later and return her back to Cdiz. In 1810 she was captured again at Avana by the French and scuttled at their Arsenal in 1816. The ship's base, ship card and ship's log are printed on two sides - game data for a second ship is printed on the back. This pack can also be used to represent the Spanish Meregildos class "Mejicano 1786". This is not a complete set. You must own a Sails of Glory starter set to play. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly may be required.
