Our Tribal Art Modern chess set draws inspiration from the famous Warli paintings . The chessmen like the warli artwork have very slim and minimalist profile giving them a very modern appearance. The antiqued copper and gold look on the chess army gives of an extra ordinary appearance to the chess set. All the chessmen have handcarved work done by top craftsmen of the trade. To add to it unique carving work of minakari elephants has been done on the chessboard itself. Green Felt has been pasted on the bottom of the chess pieces. This makes for an excellent gift choice or for display purposes. Note: This product is handmade, with the printing on the chessboard meticulously crafted by hand. Therefore, there may be some slight inconsistencies on the board, which contribute to the charm of using a handmade item.
